I live in Santa Cruz but my family lives in L.A. I am interested in learning to surf ( I ride on my knees & stomach) but I have a strange form of arthritis that gives me muscle & tendon stiffness and other physiological concerns. I am so depressed about all the obstacles in my life, I'm trying to get away with some surfing even tho I'm in bad shape. Anyone interested in helping?
I find it very spiritual. Since I had lost all faith in God, it even surprized me that it helped me believe again. I can appreciate the Jewish culture I learned about in bible studies. I grew up near Fairfax in LA too. I always kind of envied them cuz they seemed serious about standing up for their faith. thank you. I have no e-mail Janet (408)688-8949 contacts helpful too or just an advocate to maybe talk one time to a surfing teacher here about why this is so hard for me. Invisible handicaps are being misunderstood.
